Frank C. Dunbar

Frank C. Dunbar has been President of Dunbar Development Corporation (DDC) since it was formed in 1985. During that time, DDC has focused primarily on Multi-Family developments, owned by private partnerships, governmental agencies, and non-profit organizations. DDC has developed over 4,500 rental units in Minnesota, many of which are located in designated redevelopment areas. In addition to Multi-Family, DDC has experience in developing Commercial Office, Light Industrial, For-Sale Condominiums, and Retail affiliated with Mixed-Use developments.

Since 1976, Mr. Dunbar has expertise in market interpretation, design concepts, financial modeling, and analysis. Mr. Dunbar is involved in site acquisition and preparation with emphasis on environmental issues. His experience includes strong governmental relationships and detailed coordination with public agencies. The success of DDC is built on strength in construction bid negotiations, construction supervision, and management.

Mr. Dunbar has and does serve on a number of Boards of professional associations, as well as religious and civic non-profit organizations, throughout the Twin Cities.

Mr. Dunbar received his B.A. Degree in Business Administration from St. Mary's University in Winona, Minnesota in 1972. He received a Masters Degree in Real Estate Appraisal and Financial Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1975.

Kellie R. Tesch
Financial Analyst
Dunbar Development Corporation

Kellie is responsible for corporate and project accounting in addition to providing analysis of the financial feasibility of development proposals and enhancement. These analyses encompass the entire development process and include sensitivity analysis under various market conditions.  As project accountant, she processes and directs the disbursement of development funds through recognized title companies in compliance with development agreements.  Kellie is also involved in all phases of the development process coordinating activities in order to achieve the development objectives.

Kellie received her B.A. Degree in Finance from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She joined DDC in 1993.

Sheila K. Hayes
Administrative Assistant
Dunbar Development Corporation

Sheila joined Dunbar Development Corporation in 2004. As the Administrative Assistant, she is responsible for corporate administration of the office. Her responsibilities include coordination of meetings, corporate correspondence, paper and electronic record keeping and various other duties. She received her diploma from Spencer School of Business in Spencer, Iowa.

Steven J. Dunbar
Principal
Ivy Properties

Steven J. Dunbar is the Principal for Ivy Properties, since the summer of 2007 Ivy has represented clients for commercial space needs, and land acquisitions. Recently, Ivy has begun a more direct relationship with DDC on new developments.

Steve earned his B.S. degree in Marketing from Providence College, located in Providence, RI in 2005. Between 2005 and 2007, Steve worked in the Customer Marketing field, prior to forming Ivy Properties in 2007.
